First! Part two of Kosuke Fujishima's new Mini-Goddess strip, which is being published on the spine of montly issues of Afternoon. In case you missed any of the previous panels, you can find them all linked here.

TOP: Risa-chan has learned to get along with the vegetables she doesn't like, but...
BELLDANDY: Eh? Another problem?
CAPTION: CONTINUED ON THE OCTOBER ISSUE!

Second! Your random manga scans for the month. Here are two that I posted on animepaper.net, hence the large file size:

4.78 MB

Oh yeah, and this month's cameo-a-palooza:

Bonus panel of awesome:

Plus, a few lucky people (150 to be exact), if they attend the Afternoon Festival event in Tokyo and/or Osaka next month, can enter a drawing to win a clean postcard version of Fujishima's cover artwork from volume 37 of the manga.

Compared to the actual cover artwork, the postcard version shows more of the full image (Belldandy's wings aren't as cropped), and has a white background. Oooh. Drool. So lucky, whoever those winners will be.

OMGLind!!!
I wonder if I'm the only one who sees the end of manga in the next few chapters? I can be wrong, of course, but there are far too many cameos for one arc.

Honestly, I really do hope that the manga ends soon. The latest chapters do kind of have that "wrapping up" feel to them. On the other hand, though, that might all be due to the 20th anniversary - hence all of the nostalgic revisiting of old characters.

Yes, it may be just the anniversary fanservice. But I agree, it's too long without a reason, and it's time to end the manga with some big event.

It's about time Lind got another appearance, considering her popularity.

It's also nice actually seeing at least one panel of Sayoko; we haven't seen her since the Queen Sayoko Arc over twenty volumes ago. Still wish there was a chapter or special covering a brief nostalgic reunion between her, Keiichi/Belldandy.
