Soul Eater fandom, WTF.

Waffles the Cannon Fodder Bishounen is unequivocally a dude. He uses the masculine pronoun ore in reference to himself. Also, the way that he is drawn adheres strictly to the Ohkubo Bishounen Style rather than to the Ohkubo Genderfuck Style. Guys, we know that Ohkubo knows how to rock a gender-ambiguous character, but there is nothing ambiguous about the gender of our dear widdle Waffles.

Bitchy side comment: I am extremely amused by the fact that some of the people claiming confusion about Waffles's gender are the same people who declared that chapter 60 "proved" that Crona was a girl. Because apparently only girls have... curvy spines, I guess. Except for all the times that Ohkubo has drawn Kid, Stein, Hero, and even Kilik all thin and curvy like that. Oh, fandom. I'm still headdesking over that one.
